You bought a ticket via Chipta and you have questions? Here you'll find help.

I can't find my tickets in my mailbox.

It’s possible that the confirmation email accidentally got marked as spam. Please check your ‘spam’ or ‘junk’ mail folders. If the confirmation email is in one of these mailboxes, be sure to mark the email as "Not Spam" and add the email address “service@chipta.com” to your safe list or address book to prevent this problem in the future. If you can’t find the confirmation email in the spam or junk folders, try searching your inbox with the keyword “chipta”.

Alternatively you can login at www.chipta.com with your e-mail address and password. If you don't have an account you can create one. Make sure to use the same email address as the one you used when you bought the tickets. After logging in you can find all your bought tickets at "Your tickets" when you click your name on the top right of the page.

Can I show my e-ticket on a smartphone?

Yes, your tickets can be scanned from your smartphone. Make sure to download the tickets to your phone, and your phone can open this file. At the entrance to the event, please zoom in on the barcode and make sure the brightness of your screen is set to 100%. This will ensure your ticket can be scanned easily and quickly.

I am unable to download the e-tickets.

Perhaps the ticket link in the confirmation email is broken. In order to fix this, open the e-mail with the ticket link and copy the first part of the URL (usually blue and underlined) to the address bar of your browser. Next, select and copy the second part of the ticket link (usually black) and paste it directly after the first part in the address bar. Press enter on your keyboard and the tickets will appear.

I have downloaded the e-ticket but I cannot open it.

In order to open your e-ticket, you need Adobe Reader. This program can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com/reader.

I would like to buy tickets for an event, where can I find the link?

Normally you will find the event's ticket link on Facebook or the organizer's website. You can use our event search engine as well.
Please make sure the event you find is the right event, multiple events with the same name can be added to our systems.
I have bought tickets but I don't want them anymore, can I return them?

Chipta only handles the presales of the tickets. We are not authorized to take back bought tickets. You'll have to get in touch with the event organizer for this.

Can I receive an invoice or VAT receipt for my purchase?

We can send a VAT receipts for events that take place in The Netherlands. Please contact us to request one. Please don't forget to mention which event you need it for.

Events taking place in other countries can use the ticket itself. The ticket itself only shows the price of the ticket, nothing about VAT, service costs or payment fees.
